I am a fully qualified fitness trainer and ITEC body massage therapist who offers a bespoke approach to fitness training and wellbeing. Based in Englefield Green, I work with a wide variety of clients personalising each training program to help achieve their specific goals through challenging and varied workouts including; Hikes, running/walking programmes, Boxing Training, High intensity and Low intensity interval training and Core Body Work. Wherever you are on your exercise journey, my aim is to help you reach your fitness goals. In addition to the fitness side of my work, I also believe in the health benefits of receiving regular massages as part of an ongoing body maintenance and fitness routine. Massage helps people relax and let go of everyday stress and this quite simply, is one of the greatest benefits of massage, athlete or not.

PERSONALISED GYM PROGRAMMES*

This service is ideal for anyone who already loves the gym but is looking for a new programme! Kate will design you a programme based on the goals you are looking to achieve and support you to achieve them. This includes; free consultation and assessment, goal setting and measurements, a bespoke gym programme and follow up support and advice.*No personal training is included with this service however please get in touch if you would like a bespoke service to suit your needs.

POST-EXERCISE RECOVERY MASSAGE - 45 MINS

Using a sports balm, this treatment is ideal for sports professionals or any exercise enthusiasts to assist in muscle fatigue and recovery post exercise. Deep pressure and targeted tension techniques will be used to stimulate mitochondria essential for cell function and repair. This treatment can be used in one main area or across two areas of tension and can also be added to the end of a Personal Training Session.

FULL BODY MASSAGE - 60 MINS

Muscles that are tired, overused or otherwise sore are able to relax and soften through massage and this head to toe treatment promotes relaxation and stress relief working across all of the major muscle groups. This is an effective treatment for reducing stress and muscle tension as well as promoting fresh nutrients and oxygen to the muscles whilst aiding in lymphatic drainage. This treatment is conducted in a tranquil environment with calming music and low lighting using an aromatherapy oil.

BACK, NECK AND SHOULDER MASSAGE - 40 MINS

This treatment focuses on applying pressure to the soft tissue around the neck, shoulders and upper back to promote healthy blood flow, reduce tension headaches and migraines and ease day-to-day stress. The massage also stimulates the production of “feel good” chemicals within our bodies, endorphins, dopamine and serotonin which in conjunction with the massage strokes help to mitigate and decrease pain in the back and reduce anxiety and stress. This massage can be conducted on a massage couch or in a seated position depending on your mobility.

ABDOMINAL MASSAGE - 30 MINS

A gentle pressure treatment using a range of strokes around the stomach and abdominal area to help strengthen the muscles in your abdomen whilst stimulating the digestive system and promote a more efficient release and removal of waste products from the body. This treatment also improves blood circulation of the abdominal cavity, whilst promoting internal heat and break down adhesions and scar tissue.

 LEG & FOOT MASSAGE - 40 MINS

This leg massage treatment stimulates circulation of blood and lymph and relieves congestion in your legs. A range of pressure is used upward from the ankle toward the lymph nodes located at the back of the knee and groin to stimulate the lymphatic system with gentle pressure applied around the shins and knees before flowing down to the foot. This treatment is applied to both the front and back of the legs.

FACE & SCALP MASSAGE

Daily stress often results in tension buildup in the muscles of the face and head, including the forehead, between the brows, along the lip line and across the scalp. This treatment combines a gentle facial massage focusing on relaxing these tight and drawn muscles assisting in decreasing the lines that they form and tightening the muscles around the eyes and cheekbones reducing the appearance of wrinkles. This massage finishes with a scalp massage, working across the full head and base of the neck to ease tension build up and increase circulation to the head and face and help those with fatigue feel more energised. *Clients own facial oils or moisturisers can be used for this treatment.

HAND & ARM MASSAGE - 30 MINS

Arm and hand massage therapy are lesser-known specialties within massage and focus specifically on arm and hand-related injuries and soreness. This treatment focuses on the full arm, stimulating nerve endings and relieving excess stress to muscles and tissues surrounding joints. Working from the fingers, up to the shoulders, it is perfect for those who would benefit specifically from hand and arm relaxation.

I can’t recommend Kate highly enough. I wanted to get back in shape after my second child and needed someone who could come to my house (and wouldn’t mind a baby being present at our sessions). Kate thoughtfully puts together a great programme each week which is tailored to focus on the areas I want to work on. The exercises are always varied and Kate will adjust the programme as we go to make sure it is appropriate for me. Kate is amazing at keeping me motivated during the workout..... I actually look forward to our sessions each week!

I have a bit of a phobia of doing exercise classes as the thought of it gives me anxiety. I thought I would try something new and signed up with Kate. I have never worked so hard or even thought I could position work so hard in all my life!!! Not only that Kate made me feel totally at ease and actually somehow made exercise fun for me another thing I never thought possible. I particularly loved taking my aggression out on her pads with the boxing gloves. Never a dull moment and full of fun and most importantly I actually felt results. Can’t wait to do more 🤜🏻💥

I'm not a natural athlete, I don't look good in lycra, I work long hours, I commute, I have a toddler...are just some of the excuses I gave on my first session with Kate. "You're capable of more than you know" was her response. She was right. Kate was flexible around my lifestyle and was brilliant at making sure I was doing exercises I could do but making me push myself beyond my comfort level. Despite my total lack of confidence, at the end of every session I felt really proud that I'd managed to get up, give it ago and get better each week

Kate did an amazing session for Old Georgians ladies hockey and definitely gave us a good challenge!
The session was great - a mix of stretching and cardio which she had clearly carefully put together to suit where we were in terms of fitness and our sport! We did sometimes through the grimacing (!) manage to have a laugh too. Would definitely recommend!

I started with Kate a year ago and I can honestly say it was the best decision I’ve ever made. I really look forward to seeing what she has in store for me each week, sometimes it’s awful and I’ve already told myself I can’t do it before we have started. Kate is extremely supportive while pushing you to be your best and I always leave having worked hard and laughed a lot! I’d recommend Kate to anyone looking for PT nothing is ever an issue, my son coming along, changing the session time and changing the planned workout to suit my needs on the day.

Kate has been training my dad and me on joint sessions and she's great at tailoring our individual requirements whilst getting us to work together on some tasks which is perfect. It's hard work - just as it should be! But I do feel good afterwards...and fitter! 🏋️

My daughter and I have been working with Kate for over a year now. I roped Emily in so that I wouldn't feel so
self conscious, but I needn't have worried, Kate's style completely puts you at ease. That's not to say that you get an easy time of it, because you don't! She is a knowledgeable professional and I am pleased to say that since starting on the journey I feel fitter and stronger which, considering my age, was the whole point of the exercise, no pun intended!
