Walking to Weight Loss

If you want to stay fit and healthy, it’s important to exercise regularly and being physically active reduces your risk of developing health conditions such as heart disease and diabetes.

In addition to helping you live a longer and healthier life, exercise can also be beneficial for weight loss and maintenance and even if you don't know where to start, walking is a great form of physical activity that’s free, low risk and accessible to most people as well as easy to incorporate into your day-to-day life.


Aim for a 20 minute walk, twice a day, before or after work, with a dog, a baby or with a friend and enjoy the great outdoors!
